OTTAWA, October 19th, 2022 – COMFORT FOOD, the cooking show that invites viewers to embrace the guilty pleasure of comfort food with chef Spencer Watts, is wrapping filming on season two this week.
Set in a cozy winter cabin, the show features Watts preparing a variety of food that is as delicious as it is decadent. Along the way, Watts also explains what goes into the making of a cooking series and talks about his love of casual and easy-to-make food.
The show is directed by Matt West and produced by Kathy McIntyre.
Comfort Food is distributed by Serendipity Media and executive producers Ari Taub, Brendan McNeill, Patrick White, and Michael Baker whose previous productions have included The Last Video Store, Fernsby’s Cryptid Critter Control, and Do Not Disturb.
Watts, West and McIntyre are currently in post-production on season one of the series which was shot earlier this year. Upon seeing the initial footage, Serendipity immediately green-lit a second season.
